FRIENDS OF DARTMOUTH ROWING

The Dartmouth Rowing program's success is a result of the incredible investments made by our alumni, parents and friends on an annual basis. Your gifts to the Friends make possible two annual training trips, team apparel and equipment, and greater recruiting opportunities. These dollars create a vibrancy in the Boathouse for our student-athletes and ensure the future growth of our programs.

Rowing Equipment Fund

In addition to Friends of Rowing, we also offer another giving opportunity, the Rowing Equipment Fund. Dartmouth's fleet of boats, trucks and trailers is the result of the generosity of individuals and groups of people. These gifts can be made for specific projects, which change on an annual basis. For information on current needs, please email athletics.fundraising@dartmouth.edu.

"Friends support allows us to take the program on two extended training trips down south, providing critical opportunities to stay in touch with the water during the long winter months in Hanover. It has also given me the flexibility to update our shell fleet and land training equipment in ways that we feel most benefit our student-athletes and their overall competitiveness on the national stage."

Wyatt Allen, Betsy and Mark Gates 1959 Head Coach of Men's Heavyweight Rowing

"It became very clear very quickly that our program would not be where it is today without the support we receive through the Friends of Dartmouth Rowing. We are grateful for the resources we receive and the difference it makes in our ability to be successful."

John Graves, Head Coach of Women's Rowing

"The luxury of two first-class training trips is one of the most important ways the Friends of Dartmouth Rowing impacts our program on an annual basis. We are a better team because we are able to maximize those experiences."

Trevor Michelson Head Coach of Men's Lightweight Rowing
